Fisherman

Each child traces, cuts out and decorates a fish using markers or crayons.  Have the children punch a hole in each fish to attach the fish with a long string to the back of each child’s shirt with a piece of tape.  Have the child judge how much string to use and to cut the string with scissors.  Each player’s fish should drag on the floor.  On the signal players attempt to step on the other players fish.  Players gather the fish they step on.  Each player who loses a fish leaves the play area.  No hands may be used at anytime expect to gather captured fish.  Make sure the play area is clearly explained to prevent players from running to far away.
